Sell Land in Virginia & Maryland

Have a vacant lot, acreage, or another parcel you are considering selling? Jitu Investment Group reviews land in our Virginia and Maryland service areas. Begin with the parcel location and whatever records you already have.

Location and legal access come first

Share the parcel number, county or city, acreage, road frontage, and any known recorded access easement. A parcel that appears near a road does not necessarily have legal access. Existing surveys and plats can help explain the boundaries and access arrangements.

Utilities and permitted use need verification

Tell us what you know about public water and sewer, wells, septic information, electricity, zoning, and recorded restrictions. Acreage alone does not establish that a parcel is buildable or can be divided. We review available information rather than promise a particular development outcome.

Include improvements and known constraints

Identify existing structures, private roads, leases, easements, environmental reports, or other records you have. If the land was inherited or is owned with others, explain who is authorized to discuss a sale. The title or settlement company will confirm the ownership documents needed.

Ask about a purchase before ordering new work

You can start the conversation without commissioning new surveys or clearing the land. Any further due diligence, purchase terms, costs, and timing should be stated in the written agreement. Contact us with the parcel information to learn whether the property is a fit.
